Is extra coverage required? Simparica Trio does not protect against hydatid tapeworm, which can be transmitted from eating offal and carcass material (particularly in farm settings). If this pertains to you, pair with a wormer containing Praziquantel, such as Popantel, Droncit, or Drontal, every 6 weeks. Simparica Trio does not provide protection against the tick-borne disease Ehrlichiosis.
