What is rTG Omega-3?

Omega-3 is broadly divided into three types, and Nature’s Key uses the highest-quality 3rd generation rTG form of Omega-3.

1st Generation(TG form):  Extracted from natural fish sources. High levels of satura ted fatty acids, which are not beneficial for

2nd Generation(EE form): In the TG form, satu rated fats and glyce rol are removed and then combined with ethanol to increase purity. The absorption rate is 27-30% lower than in the TG form (Harr is et al., 2007). 

3rd Generation(rTG form): The high purity of th e EE form is maintai ned, while convertin g to the rTG form, w hich has the highest absorption rate.
