What problems could my dog or cat have with Enrofloxacin?

Enrofloxacin has a bitter taste. Do not give Enrofloxacin at the same time as other drugs or vitamins that contain calcium, iron, aluminium, or sucralfate. These will reduce the amount of Enrofloxacin that is absorbed. Vomiting, diarrhoea, and nausea are the most common side effects. Do not give more than your veterinarian prescribes to cats. Blindness may result in cats from excess dosing.

How do you use Enrofloxacin?

It is best to give Enrofloxacin on an empty stomach without food. If your dog or cat vomits when given the Enrofloxacin, contact your veterinarian for assistance and follow their directions for use.
