What are Macrolone Granules?

Macrolone is often used to treat inflammation, to suppress the immune system, to replace or supplement adrenal insufficient animals, or to inhibit the growth or spread of tumours.

If your dog stops eating, or you notice signs such as high fever, black, tarry stools, or bloody vomit, contact your veterinarian immediately.

How do you use Macrolone?

Macrolone should be given with food. Follow your veterinarian's directions. Do not stop giving Macrolone without talking to your veterinarian as serious side effects may result.

The active ingredient in Macrolone is Prednisolone. Prednisolone is a glucocorticoid or hormone that breaks down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins so that they can be used to fuel the body in times of stress.
