What are Mobic Tablets?
Mobic is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces the pain and inflammation of osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders.
Why do pets use Mobic?
If your dog or cat has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis or suffers from joint pain, your veterinarian may prescribe an NSAID such as Mobic to reduce the associated pain and inflammation.
What else should I know about Mobic?
Reduces joint pain and inflammation. Can be mixed with food or given into the mouth. Your veterinarian may ask for routine blood tests to check for liver and kidney side effects. These follow-ups are very important.
What problems could my dog or cat have with Mobic?
Serious, but rare, side effects of Mobic include ulcers and liver or kidney problems. These are more likely in cats. Contact your veterinarian immediately if you notice symptoms such as eating less than normal, vomiting, changes in bowel movements, changes in behaviour or activity, weakness, seizures, aggression, jaundice, changes in drinking, or changes in urination. Store Mobic out of reach of children and other pets.
How do you use Mobic?
Mobic should be given with food. Follow your veterinarian's directions.

The active ingredient is Meloxicam. Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
