Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary S/O Wet Cat Food Pouches are designed for the nutritional treatment of adult cats with lower urinary tract problems.

Excellent for dissolving struvite stones and lowering their recurrence due to its urine-acidifying effects and low magnesium content.
  • Dissolves crystals: Effectively dissolves particular urinary stones called struvites.
  • Low RSS: Helps lower the concentration of ions contributing to crystal formation.
  • Urine dilution: Helps to prevent urinary crystals.
  • Low Magnesium: This diet is low in magnesium - a component of struvite urinary crystals.
Recommended for (indications): Struvite uroliths: dissolution and management of recurrence, Calcium oxalate uroliths: management of recurrence. Not recommended for (contraindications): Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought), Concurrent use of urine-acidifying drugs, Growth, gestation, lactation, Hypertension.

Feeding Guide

  • Feed Urinary S/O for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones
  • Feed for up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence.
  • Feed according to the below table - total daily recommended intake.
  • Adjust the feeding according to your dog's activity level, or as your veterinarian recommends.
  • It is recommended to split the daily intake into two separate meals.
  • Always provide plenty of fresh drinking water.
